About

As an artist and educator, I am passionate about the value of an education in the arts. My philosophy of teaching combines my personal goal to be a lifelong learner and my love of the craft with providing the next generation of photographers the tools to succeed as artists and professionals. In over 5 years of teaching at the university level, I have developed a teaching style that allows students to create imagery and tell stories while carving out a sustainable career in the field. I do this by honing their abilities in craft and process while developing their understanding of their craft as a business. I hope to impart on every student their limitless potential.

I have been a photographer all of my life, a professional one for almost 20 years and an adjunct professor of photography for 5 years. I have a Masters of Fine Arts in Photography, live in Florida with my husband Scott and our Doodles Siska and Navi.
